Booking Systems for the Europa Experience

The Europa Experience facilities are multimedia spaces across the EU. Using interactive tools, they offer visitors direct and fascinating insights into how Europeans work together to tackle today’s most important challenges.

To ensure a coherent visiting experience in all facilities in line with the European Parliament’s Visitor Strategy, VSCU took the decision to implement booking systems for every Europa Experience centre.

Approach

Create universal business processes to cover the needs of all Europa Experience centres:

• Analyse the business needs and design unified processes that would still allow for some operational variations.
• Design a scalable and multilingual digital booking solution.

Implement a designed solution and guarantee the required quality:

• A digital solution compliant with the EP’s usability, accessibility, data privacy and security requirements.
• Ensure scalability and performance of the implemented system.
• Provide guidance and solutions for issues throughout the testing and implementation phases.

Results

• We successfully implemented a scalable, multilingual digital solution that currently supports 7 Europa Experience facilities. 4 additional centres are being onboarded.
• All onboarded multimedia spaces share common booking process that allow operational and organisational exceptions.
• Standardised data output that enables in-depth analysis and decision-making.
